Before 3D printing arrived on the lot, a single hero prop — a costume chest piece, a futuristic weapon, a creature skull — might take a team of fabricators weeks to carve, mold, and cast from fiberglass or foam latex. The "FDM Shell / Resin Detail" Workflow
